The NYTimes is reporting, that new and popular hip and knee implants are not better than predecessors. So much for marketing and gimmicks claiming the ‘new and improved’,or that modern innovation, advanced these products with patients benefitting. The DePuy ASR family of products was recalled during August 2010.
